Content Contribution
One common mistake many organizations make,
when implementing
Ektron CMS400.NET, is to ignore or
marginalize the content contributor
interface. Developing templates is generally
not a technically difficult task for a
qualified .NET developer. However, the
difference between a "satisfactory"
implementation and one your authors will
praise, is the time spent making it as easy
to contribute content as possible.
If you start your project on your own, we
would recommend spending a good portion of
your project "discovery" (requirements
gathering) time interviewing your authors
for exactly "how" they feel most comfortable
contributing content. Taking this step will
not only make your author happier and more
productive, but it will reduce your
development time.

Ektron CMS400.NET is an innovative and robust
.NET-based web content management tool. It has a
wide variety of features that provide organizations
with a great deal of flexibility in implementation.

Ektron's product. With that experience, we can help
your organization create the right solution for your
needs. In addition, our Fast Track program includes
hand-ons training and assistance for your staff.

Fast Track to Ektron CMS400.NET Includes:
- Installation and configuration of Windows
2003, SQL Server 2005 and CMS400.NET in a
development environment (VMWare or Virtual
PC-based)

using your existing visual design. Optionally,
we can develop a new visual design for you (at
an additional cost)
- Provide a two day training course for your
technical staff (up to 5 people)
- Provide a half-day training course for your
content authors (up to 10 people)
