Consejo, Inc. is a Chicago-based technology consulting firm for small & medium businesses and not-for-profit agencies. We understand the challenges of leveraging technology in organizations that don’t have large budgets or “infinite” staff resources.  We operate on the philosophy that the technology should supplement and enhance productivity, not create more work. 

Expertise
As an organization, Consejo is exclusively focused on the Information Worker space.  Our consultants spend 100% of their time working on and developing solutions that involve Microsoft Information Worker technologies, such as SharePoint (both WSS and MOSS), Microsoft Content Management Server, Office as well as related technologies like search solutions from Google, search and analytic solutions from Mondosoft and other content management solutions from companies like Ektron, EpiServer and SiteCore.  In addition, we ensure that our consultants stay abreast of underlying technologies like Windows, Windows Workflow Foundation, .NET, Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer.

In addition to our technical skills and experience, we actively write and speak on the topics of content management, search, portals and collaboration.  Our speaking and writing experiences help to elevate our consultants beyond the day to day solution development and broaden their view to related developments in business and technology.

We will ensure that we provide our best efforts, 100% of the time, to develop technology solutions that enable our customers to overcome business challenges and improve productivity.  We treat our customers fairly and with respect.  If, for any reason, a customer is dissatisfied with our services, we will make it right at our expense.  If we are unable to satisfy our customer after we have made our best efforts to ensure their satisfaction, we will provide a full or partial refund of all services fees paid to date and cancel any outstanding invoices (subject to terms and conditions).

To the environment
We strive to leave the environment as we found it and to reduce our environmental impact.  Consejo uses recycled materials when available and purchases energy efficient equipment.  We try to utilize web conference technology to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels for vehicular transportation, and encourage our employees to use mass transit systems.
